As the year draws to a close, it feels like time has flown by once again. Our last working day of the year will be Thursday, December 26.
This year began with a series of unsettling events, such as the Noto Peninsula earthquake and the accident at Haneda Airport — as if foreshadowing a year of turbulence. Political uncertainty and global instability have continued throughout the year.
Amid such challenges, we are truly grateful for the continued support of our business partners, which enabled us to deliver many well-received products to our customers overseas. Toward the end of the year, we also received some uplifting news — our email newsletter, launched last year on MagMag, won 3rd place in the Overall Grand Prize category at the MagMag Awards.
On a personal note, I contracted COVID-19 in March and dealt with a lingering cold in August, which impacted my health. Still, I am deeply thankful for the new encounters and connections I’ve had this year, and for being able to close the year in good spirits.
We will resume operations on Monday, January 6.
Thank you very much for your continued support throughout the year.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful New Year.
